Konami Gaming teams up with Xailient to introduce “SYNK Vision”
Konami Gaming Inc., a US-based creator of casino games, and Xailient Inc., an IT services provider, have teamed to provide “SYNK Vision,” a face recognition technology for the gaming sector.
With this device, face recognition will supposedly take the role of magnetic player tracking cards at gaming tables and slot machines. By combining Konami’s Synkros casino management system with Xailient’s powerful AI face recognition technology, SYNK Vision is poised to revolutionize player surveillance and encourage responsible gambling, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).
One of SYNK Vision’s features, “cardless login,” allows customers to log into the player monitoring system as soon as they take a seat at a table or spin a slot machine. This method may also be used by casinos to anonymously monitor and provide bonuses to players.
According to Tom Soukup, senior vice president and chief systems product officer of Konami Gaming Inc., SYNK Vision is a solution that enhances visitor experience and operational efficiency while emphasizing damage control and ethical play. According to Joe Mayer, systems sales and operations manager for Konami Australia Pty Ltd in the area, SYNK Vision is changing the future of gaming in the APAC region by emphasizing secure identity management for a safe and fun gaming experience.
