A brand-new slot machine modelled by the well-known South Korean series “Squid Game” will be unveiled by international gaming provider Light & Wonder at the G2E convention in Las Vegas. The popular Netflix series has been included into this slot machine, containing elements from Red Light, Green Light, Tug of War, and The Glass Tile.
The “Squid Game” slot machine will make its premiere on Light & Wonder’s HORIZON large-screen jumbo cabinet, which has a huge 75-inch screen with 600,000 distinct micro-LED pixels and a 90-inch display area. To improve the player experience, the cabinet also has a huge transparent iDeck with integrated lighting, a 27-inch touch screen, a mobile charger, and twin play buttons.
Along with the real slot machine, Light & Wonder will debut a digital version of the “Squid Game” theme with three bonus rounds modelled by the series’ enduring games.
As the first slots gaming firm to collaborate with Netflix’s “Squid Game” and bring the programme to life across several casino gaming platforms, Light & Wonder CEO Matt Wilson expressed delight in this accomplishment. He emphasised the attractiveness of combining intense gaming with fan-favorite performances, both online and on casino floors. At Light & Wonder’s booth #1116 at the G2E conference, attendees may play “Squid Game” before it debuts in casinos in 2024.
