MGM Resorts encountered a “cybersecurity issue” on the same Sunday as the cyberattack, which resulted in the suspension of systems across all of its hotels and casinos. While MGM Resorts assured guests that they would continue to provide the renowned experiences associated with the brand, guests reported significant disruptions, such as lengthy delays in the lobby, the lack of phone and room service, and malfunctioning slot machines.
MGM Resorts is actively collaborating with cybersecurity specialists and the FBI to resolve the ongoing cyber issue. In the midst of this difficult time, Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph’s upbeat dance video provided a welcome measure of entertainment and fortitude.
