Seven Star Digital acquires Moneta Communications

Seven Star Digital has acquired Moneta Communications, a UK-based betting media company.

This deal will see Seven Star, an iGaming affiliate business, add further websites to its roster, including Horseracing.net and Bettingodds.com.

As the former website’s name would suggest, it publishes horseracing content, offering users wagering tips on UK and international events.

The latter website, meanwhile, provides odds-related content, covering all sports and spanning multiple markets, including Africa, North America and the UK.

Britain is of particular importance to Seven Star, whose growth strategy prioritises “mature gambling markets.”

Jack Lodge, Seven Star Digital CEO, touched on this, commenting: “I’m delighted to solidify our position in the UK market with the acquisition of Moneta Communications.

“The UK has been the foundation of Seven Star Digital’s success over the last five years and by bringing Moneta on board, we can expand our UK presence, particularly in the sports betting market.

“I believe that the synergies we can achieve by sharing Seven Star Digital’s operational expertise will help drive the growth of Moneta Communications in a highly competitive market.”

Seven Star also has one eye on North America, specifically the US, where both Horseracing.net and Bettingodds.com have gained some “traction.” Seven Star is owned by OneTwenty.
