Gaming commission members requested last-minute change in LVS-AAEC bid
A last-minute change ordered by members of the Macau Gaming Commission in charge of the 2001-2002 gaming concession tender was crucial to assure that Galaxy, and not Asian American Entertainment Corporation (AAEC), ended with a gaming concession, a witness stated today (Friday) in court.
The US$12 billion (MOP96 billion) lawsuit initiated by AAEC, headed by Taiwanese businessman, Marshall Hao, against three subsidiaries of LVS, the parent firm of local gaming operator Sands China, continued today (Friday), after a hiatus of almost three months and several pandemic-related delays.
