Accounting Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Accounting Analyst is expected to be knowledgeable most importantly for intercompany / international consolidation of Financial Statements. He must know how to analyze and journalize to avoid translation and foreign exchange losses in and between currencies.
- Detailed Bookkeeping (Generalist)
- Detailed Expense Recording
- Intercompany Activity Reconciliation
- Month End Closing
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- International/Intercompany Consolidation of Financial Statements
- Perform Ad hoc Analysis / Assist in Analytical Review of Expenses
- Other functions as occasionally assigned by Department Head
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is not required but will be a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years General Accounting Experience.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a Multinational / Conglomerate exposed in subsidiary companies consolidation of Financial Statements.
- Knowledge on Foreign Currency Denominated transactions, Third currency transactions and recognition of Forex Gain/Loss.
- Recent ERP Experience Required – Use of Netsuite is a huge plus.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills within a multicultural business environment.
- Willing to work extended hours.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
